Following the trend of technological advancement, Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has already begun the on line services. Now the applicants can book their appointment online. As we all now that the applicants have to bool a appointment at the UIDAI center where the officers record the bio-metric data of the applicants. Earlier the applicant had to go to the Aadahar card center to book their slots. With the introduction of new service by UIDAI the work became much more easier. Now the applicants can get the appointment by few click of their mouse.
Election Commission of India has decided to old dull & gross voter identity card to replace with colored plastic voter cards, these plastic voter id cards will be containing color photograph of voters.
Mr. HS Brahma who is the chief Election commissioner said that Aadhar card and voter ID card when linked together will remove the duplicacy and hence result into a fair and transparent voting system, Henceforth making India the world’s only country with no duplicate voter ID’s. This would surely result in a better system , a better governance and an improved country in the long run.
Government is planned to take another step forward with Aadhar card UIDAI, this is going to be a revolutionary step of government to eliminate bogus voting in elections. This step is first taken by the Haryana government starting from the Faridabad district, the officials have started collecting the Aadhaar card numbers of citizens of district and when done administration will start adding them to voter id.
